Senior Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Description
An International start-up travel company is hiring candidates for the Senior Sales and Marketing Executive role based in Kolkata with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Travel Industry.

Job Responsibility
• Generate Leads and proactively increase sales.
• Effectively promote the company and its merchandise and target the correct and appropriate audience in different campaigns.
• SEM/SEO, social media marketing, on-site marketing - Social media strategy and marketing
• Activities may include social media, events, direct mail campaigns, database marketing, press and radio advertising and TV as well as being across evolving technologies
• Selling domestic and international Air, Hotel, Reservation, and Vacation Packages to customers, including FIT, GIT, Business, and Corporate.
• Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services
• Maintain excellent relations with clients/customers and provide support and assistance ensuring that all travel requirements are handled efficiently
• Handling Inbound Calls of the organization.
• Conversion of customer from potential customer to permanent customer.
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages

Qualification and Skills
• Travel enthusiast
• Proven work experience in Sales and Marketing
• Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
• Graduate or Diploma in Travel and Tourism
• IATA Certified highly desired
• Must possess knowledge and experience in managing Phone calls, Computers (MS Office), E-Mails, Fax, Printers etc.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Warm, alert, prompt, presentable, resourceful, and confident
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
• Ability to speak effortlessly in English, Bengali, and Hindi
