Your Role and Responsibilities
Serves as Lead to provide business, technical and personnel management to cross-functional groups of Service Providers, IT Integrators, Clients and administrative personnel across multiple disciplines such as engineering, business operations, sales, and systems development. The Order Manager is responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent client projects. The Senior Project Manager schedules and assigns work to clients, service providers, and subcontractors and monitors progress and resolves discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements.
The Order Manager ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in our client order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes and budget constraints. The Order Manager reports orally and in writing to the Managing Partner of Operations, contractor management, and client representatives.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• One (1) or more years of order / project management experience managing system integration, design, development, testing, implementation, integration, operations and/or program management in the construction, utility, or financial services industry(s).
• Two (2) or more years of Google Workspaces (formerly G-Suite) experience
• Requires competence in all phases of project management for complex computer systems.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently based on the strategic plan or under general direction.
• Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools.
• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plans and leads major project assignments.
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Functions as a client representative across multiple project assignments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, service providers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Minimum Education: Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in telecommunications, technology, or software order management or break/fix support
• Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
