About the job role:
Link To Any (formerly ShoppinPal) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-level QA Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and desktop applications. You will be responsible for both manual testing and UI end-to-end automation testing, as well as API testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in testing methodologies, experience with Cypress or Playwright for UI automation, proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, and a good understanding of database systems such as MongoDB and SQL. In addition, experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Gitlab CI would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts.
- Perform UI end-to-end automation testing using Cypress or Playwright frameworks.
- Analyse, design, and build automated test cases based on system requirements and design specification.
- Build and maintain test automation framework for web applications, Desktop applications and Rest API's testing.
- Continuous evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features.
- Defining Automation strategy and test design techniques.
- Driving Quality improvements and test efficiencies.
- You may occasionally have to participate in manual testing efforts in areas not yet automated.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders including Dev Lead, Architect, Product Management, and Support organization to ensure the quality of deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Between 5 to 7 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks for applications developed in Java, JavaScript, Typescript.
- Proven scripting or programming experience that conforms to good software engineering design principles and practices
- Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines (Jenkins/Gitlab)
- Analyse Testing and Automation trends in the market and adapt them as required.
- Hands-on experience in building CI/CD Pipeline and DevOps.
- Good understanding of Web Technologies like HTTP, REST, and Database concepts.
- Experience in automating Functional, Non-Functional, REST API, and UI test cases for web applications.
- Eperience API automation.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and keen to drive improvements
