Job Description: We are looking for a Senior backend engineer with strong Python programming, cloud computing skills who is eager to join an Early-Stage Technology Startup.

In this position:

• You will use your skills and abilities to implement and enhance Pivony's distributed on-prem and cloud-based backend infrastructures.
• You will be responsible for writing high-quality code and using good programming practices in implementing various features and integrate new data platforms.
• You will share duties with other team members, including monitoring our infrastructure, and responding to issues that arise (including client support tickets).

Requirement

• Having at least the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

• Ability to work within a team under tight timelines.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Strong knowledge and depth in computer science fundamentals
• Proficiency in design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure
• Proficiency in Python programming, Flask, Django or FastAPI, including a comfortable knowledge of the language's standard library, usual coding style practices, and common idioms.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in using relational databases and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency and attention to detail in handling errors and edge cases in code
• Proficiency in testing and debugging code
