JOB DESCRIPTION
DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH INTERNATIONAL E-COMMERCE?

MakesYouLocal helps webshops to expand and succeed abroad. Several of our clients are focusing on markets across Europe, including Bulgaria, which is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our Bulgarian team!

In this position, you will play an important part in our clients’ success in the Bulgarian market. Together with the team, you will help webshops with various tasks, such as customer service, translations and social media monitoring. The position teaches you a lot about international e-commerce and gives you an opportunity to grow into more senior positions over time.

Our new colleague should have excellent verbal and written skills in Romanian, and have a good understanding of Romanian consumers’ mindset, as well as first-hand knowledge of the culture.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR NEXT COLLEAGUE

We are looking for people with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers. Experience in a relevant field such as e-commerce, customer service, retail, hospitality or similar is a plus, however, the most important thing is a willingness to learn.

You should have:

Native-level Bulgarian language skills

Deep understanding of Bulgarian consumers’ mindset and first-hand knowledge about the culture

Good command of English, written and spoken

Ability to translate from English to Bulgarian

Good computer skills and a willingness to learn new things

A team-player attitude

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Customer service (phone, chat, email)

  • Translation of product descriptions, ads, newsletters and other types of webshop texts

  • Social media monitoring on behalf of webshops

  • Providing valuable feedback to clients to optimise the customer experience

Great place to work!

We want to ensure that our employees are happy and flourishing in the company. First of all, we strive to make sure that everybody’s workday includes a variety of tasks. On Fridays, we occasionally enjoy a drink or two, and we are big fans of social events — from sporty activities to great parties. We value a friendly and informal atmosphere, where people thrive and grow together.

We offer

Training in e-commerce, translation, our tools and more — we'll teach you everything you need to know to succeed in this role

Career development & training for specialised roles — we support your growth with frequent 1-1 meetings and tailored training

Hybrid attendance – a lot of us have family far away or perhaps you just want to stay in some days. We trust that you can work remotely once in a while

Flexibility — be it a dentist or a sick kid, we understand that sometimes schedules have to change

1 Trust Day per quarter — take an extra day off when you really need it

Regular team events and office parties — parties and social gatherings are a great way to form lasting friendships

The final salary offer will depend on experience and the agreed number of hours.

If you can see yourself joining our team, do not hesitate to send in an application with your CV. Please also indicate your possible start date.
