The Role

HootBoard is hiring a digital marketeer to build upon HootBoard’s digital marketing efforts with a goal to generate demand, nurture prospects, and to drive leads.

The successful candidate will be able to understand our customer persona; and design, test, and implement acquisition tactics to drive interest. They shall be able to independently identify, test, and prioritize acquisition channels to deliver the maximum “bang for the buck” to meet OR exceed our lead generation targets. They will lead a team that consists of content creator, designer and developers as needed to execute on-budget campaigns.

Finally, the successful candidate must be data-driven review weekly plans, and share results with the management team. They must be comfortable taking direct feedback from peers and management and be mature enough to give feedback to peers and management if need be.

*About HootBoard: *

HootBoard is the first visitor information kiosk platform coupled with Out-of-Home Advertising capabilities. In other words, we have combined kiosks which makes it a great resource for for the travel, hospitality, & education industries. Out-of-home advertising allows these organizations to generate residual revenue via. advertising.

The Team:

At HootBoard you will be working along with some smartest developers and product designers. You will be a critical part of our business team and will be the first growth hacker and will have a huge impact on HootBoard’s success. At HootBoard, we believe in holding each other accountable, deliver results, and have fun while doing it.

Key Activities:

  • Define and maintain customer personas.
  • Identify, test and prioritize acquisition channels.
  • Design and implement acquisition funnels.
  • Plan and execute detailed marketing campaigns for a variety of target stakeholders using content, webinars and other tactics.
  • Conceptualize and build landing pages.
  • Create relevant content like blogs, videos, and ebooks to drive traffic.
  • Work with external bloggers to promote HootBoard and related writeups.

Skills and experience:

  • Web building tools like WordPress, Unbounce to create landing pages, and marketing content.
  • Digital marketing and reporting tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.
  • Some experience with digital advertising, SEM, retargeting.
  • Understand and have experience with SEO and content marketing.
  • Comfortable writing content and work with peers to get content created.
  • Be self-directed and ability design, implement, and manage campaigns without much direction.
  • Planning and reporting skills. Be comfortable reporting successes and failures with the team. Identify learnings.
