Our team is based in Irvine, CA, and we have a hybrid work model. Applicants must be willing to relocate.

Who You Are
We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager with experience using social media to build community, brand, and generate leads. You’ll work cross-functionally with different members of our team and be a part of bringing our initial product to market, reporting directly to the CEO/Founder. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, love solving problems and executing at an A-level. Like us, you value creativity, scrappiness, and innovation while also maintaining professionalism and excellence. This is an ideal role for someone who is a hustler, self-starter, and creator. Excellent communication, high EQ and IQ, and a bias-to-action are requirements for this role.

You Will

  • Build Tatem’s online community (and waitlist), focusing primarily on Twitter, Linkedin, and any other relevant channels such as Reddit, Quora, or TikTok
  • Identify and generate potential customers (leads) through social media
  • Use growth-hacking and grassroots social media marketing strategies to build, launch, and manage creative campaigns
  • Define KPIs for social media campaigns and monitor success across channels
  • Develop creative partnerships with brands and/or individuals (”influencers”) that will drive growth for Tatem
  • Work cross-functionally with design and product marketing to create, plan, and write copy for all social media assets
  • Partner with growth to execute new initiatives, including drops
  • Update social media content across all channels
  • Engage with customers and followers
  • Stay on top of current social media trends
  • Use software like Hootsuite or Sprout Social to manage social campaigns if/as needed

You Have

  • A desire to build something incredible from the ground up (entrepreneurial spirit is a non-negotiable)
  • At least one active social account with a minimum of 15k followers and high engagement
  • A minimum of 2-4+ years proven experience building online communities and driving growth for brands
  • A passion for growth-hacking, and scrappy, grassroots marketing
  • A love for technology, and an excitement for building community around new products
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or equivalent industry experience

About the Position
We’re looking for someone to join our team in the summer / fall of 2023.

We meet in-person 2x per week. Once on Friday, and once midweek.

Note: We are also open to part-time applicants.
