Chief Marketing Officer

Looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our founding team. Should be experienced in go-to market for mobile apps and/or social media. Experience in the restaurant/bar/club or review space is a huge plus.

Role:
To oversee the go-to market of a new app in the review space. The CMO will work closely with the CEO and CTO to help design the app and early onboarding and referral tactics. The sole metric to measure success will be downloads, DAUs, and CAC.
There will be 4 main ways that we will be marketing this app early on. The CMO will help set up and execute on these 4 different methods.
1) Influencer marketing. The CMO will be in charge of gathering food and drink influencers through direct outreach and agency outreach. If you have experience in this space, let us know!
2) Ambassador marketing. Looking to have 5-10 college kids in every college in the country promoting the app (and getting paid to do so). If you have experience in this space, let us know!
3) Referrals. We want our early adopters to be our marketers as well. As CMO, your role will be to come up with incentives (willing to offer straight cash to early users to tell their friends about it, see PayPal and Getir on this front)
4) Endless individual advocacy. The CEO, CTO, and CMO are all going to be pushing the app in unscalable ways. Going to bars, restaurants, happy hours etc. all to get the word out there about What's It Like.
