Grant Writing Consultant (P/T)

The Grant Writing Consultant will assist in supporting the efforts of the Executive Director through a variety of activities including media outreach, special projects, traditional and social media placement tracking, research on appropriate media contacts and editorial calendars, photography, and content development for the Utopia Global Wellness social media channels and various administrative tasks.

We’re looking for a true self-starter who is comfortable in a cross-functional environment of working autonomously and with a team.

Grant Writing Consultant Responsibilities:

• Grant Applications
• Accelerator Programs
• Government Contract Proposals
• Pitch Competitions
• Investment Funds
• Support with Business Plan Completion
• Pitch Deck Updates

We currently have a number of application responses in a repository spreadsheet. However, carefully curated responses and updates will still be needed for unique questions. Additionally, our Executive Summary and partially completed Business Plan and; Deck need support with updates and completion.

*Requirements: *

Proven and successful experience with:

• Business Plans/Decks
• Successful track record with helping clients receive funding
• Excellent business writing
• Completing applications for various Startup funding opportunities as reflected above.
• Grant writing and resulting in grant funding/awards
• Strong copywriting and business writing experience.

Time Commitment:

Approximately 7-10 hours/week (depending upon projects). Anything over 10 hours must have prior approval from Ms. Powell.

Compensation:

Hourly rate + Commission (and potential for future equity)
