The Role

greenTEG offers high-tech thermal sensing solutions for an international customer base. Our unique products enable a wide range of new application options such as indirect temperature measurement, increased energy efficiency, higher instrumental precision, or reduction of operation costs. We develop, manufacture, and market heat flux sensing solutions at our headquarters in Zurich- Rümlang (Switzerland) and are expanding to the US with our medical solution FeverFlux for continuous, noninvasive monitoring of core body temperature.

With your strong entrepreneurial drive and a deep interest in technology and its applications, you will promote greenTEG’s core body temperature sensing solutions in the medical market.

Your tasks as a business development intern:

Identify and generate customer leads, with a focus on our new product FeverFlux
Manage, analyze, and optimize greenTEG’s customer pipeline
Support customer/stakeholder research informing further development of the FeverFlux solution
Perform market research into various potential markets and use cases

Requirements

You are a student or recent graduate looking for an internship in an entrepreneurial atmosphere for the duration of 6 months or more. You can start ASAP and ideally work in Portland, OR during this period alongside our VP Business Development – Medical. You are motivated to work for a Swiss startup, able to learn fast and independently, and have excellent communication skills (in English, other languages are an asset).

Your experience:

Background in natural science/engineering or in business with a strong technical track record
Affinity for technology: you need to explain our solution to customers, and you need to understand their technical problems
Good Excel skills for implementing/maintaining a customer database / pipeline, experience with CRM/inbound and marketing programs are an advantage
Good communication and sales skills
Comfort with ambiguity and strong intrinsic motivation for business development/sales and technology commercialization
Willingness to take on responsibility as fast as you learn
