About Idyllo
Idyllo is an early-stage (pre-seed) proptech startup, building a new marketplace that makes it easier for people to find the best products and professionals for their homes. We use user generated data to anticipate homeowners’ needs, and a business model that helps businesses (vendors) in our network boost their margins and work with customers who trust their expertise. Our team is on a mission to fix and transform the $750 billion home improvement market, drive money back into local communities, and make homes better for people and the environment. Find us on the web at www.idyllo.com.
About the role
We are looking for a driven individual familiar with the Birmingham home improvement business community to help build out the vendor side of our marketplace and support our Birmingham launch. This person will work through Idyllo’s and their networks to build a pipeline of potential vendors, share Idyllo’s value proposition, and help onboard vendors to the Idyllo marketplace and support their success. The role will work closely with and report directly to the CEO.
Idyllo is currently participating in Alabama Techstars Energy & Climate Tech program (through December 2022). This person will have significant exposure to the Birmingham startup and Techstars community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit qualified home improvement vendors to join the Idyllo marketplace
- Support vendor screening and onboarding
- Help the CEO refine Idyllo’s value proposition to vendors (benefits, communication, etc.)

Role type
Contract, Part time (10-20 hours per week)
Location
Must be able to work in the Birmingham, AL area. This role will be partially in-office and WFH.
