**2Shores Capital is seeking someone to join our New Business Development and Commercialization Team. This is a hybrid position but with in-person visits to our clients and partners in the GTA area. Ideally, the person should have some experience in business development and sales in online and offline channels; and with experience in a growing startup or in fintech/e-commerce or traditional financial services would be a plus.

This position is ideal for candidates looking to work in a very entrepreneurial environment, talking and listening to people, and willing to make big impacts.

Job Description:
This role will be reporting to the COO/CTO of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Contribute and shape the company’s Dental Financing, and Commercialization vision and missions
• Conduct market research and identify potential clients and partners
• Acquire new partners for our dental financing, leasing, lending programs, and other commercialization ideas;
• Maintain our client base in a CRM system
• Develop and implement sales strategies, client service, retention plans, update marketing strategies
• Draft business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
• Cultivate strong relationship with our customers and partners;
• Make sure our new partners are on-boarded by doing proper checks and training
• Increase our partners sales metrics;
• Cross sell our other services to partners and clients
• Meet our clients virtually or in-person;
• Meet our partners and potential customers physically (travel may be required for some partners and clients)
• Generate, organize, source, and nurture our sales leads
• Run video demos, on board, train and set up our partnership accounts
• Build strong relationships with business partners/owners, and also the users of our platform and services
• Run refresher training sessions
• Support our partners and clients via chat, Whatsapp, FAQ, phone, text, and email
• Contact inactive partners or clients by sending emails, online training, and others
• Cross sell our other services to either partners and clients. We have lending products that can benefit everyone

Additional tasks will include handling loan applications, servicing, co-creating and implementation of new lending processes with the management team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges and consistently adapt in an evolving environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of previous technical sales in software or fintech experience.
• Experience with CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Office Suite, Google Workplace - Gmail, Sheets, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Relevant troubleshooting skills
• Must be in the GTA region
• Analytical, problem solving, attention to details and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy for the clients.
• Operational skills, take initiatives as needed, team player and positive energy with a “get it done” attitude.
• Reliable and a self-starter
• Willing to take on new roles and challenges
