Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all things legal and compliance across the business. This will include:

• Reviewing and revising external commercial contracts.
• Creating internal template contracts
• Implementing internal processes and procedures to ensure global data privacy compliance (GDPR and worldwide data privacy - experience in international data privacy regulations preferred but not necessary)
• Reviewing IP protection and obtaining necessary trademarks.
• Reviewing employment contracts and obtaining necessary visa licenses.
• Assist with any commercial or fundraising due diligence.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining regulatory approvals.
• Reviewing and negotiating insurance contracts.
• Reviewing advertising/marketing to ensure it’s compliant with regulatory requirements. About you
• Qualified solicitor (geography agnostic)
• >2 years experience in a startup or scaleup.
• Evidence of self-direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
