Entrepreneur-in-Residence (UI/UX)

We are looking for a talented UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have the ability to create user-centered designs by understanding business needs and requirements. As well as translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces. If you have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.

A key component of this role is Enterpreneur in residence, where you get to explore new innovative ideas with funds for implementation potentially converted to a new startup.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
• Creating flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
• Creating original graphic designs like images, sketches, and tables.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX/UI problems.
• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements:

• Proven UI/UX experience (3-5 years).
• Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
• You are proficient in prototyping tools.
• Experience with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere and After effects is a plus.

Minimum requirement:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design or Computer Science
