The Role

We're currently looking for an HR Manager for Medical Staffing in Cebu City!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
  • Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Plan and coordinate an organization’s workforce to best use employees’ talents
  • Link an organization’s management with its employees
  • Plan and oversee employee benefit programs
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of specialists and support staff
  • Oversee an organization’s recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes
  • Handle staffing issues, such as mediating disputes and directing disciplinary procedures
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to develop compensations for salary, incentives, relocation, and recommendations so as to ensure market competitiveness within the geographical location.
  • Coordinate and manage immigration and visa processing for employees.
  • Create and maintain HR metrics, and standard reports/queries for executive management and internal customers.
  • Ensure that company’s website and other external websites have current and accurate HR-related content.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment law, employment law, recruitment law, etc.
  • Ensure that employee files are created, maintained and secured in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform due diligence for the integration process of employees of acquired companies.
  • Ensure that all contracts are examined, reviewed and approved by the HR Administration, Recruiting and Legal departments at the time of recruiting and execution.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Lives in Cebu City (office based)
