Front-end Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features for our workflow system and new middleware and application frameworks.
• Create high-quality code adhering to our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale web environment.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Optimize application performance and enhance the user experience.
• Ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end systems, APIs, and databases.

Must-haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a solid understanding of computer science principles.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with writing automated tests (e.g., Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and version control systems.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently on assigned tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Alignment with our values and the ability to work in accordance with them.
• Candidates who live in Japan and have a basic understanding of Japanese.

• Experience with Vue and Nuxt.
• Enterprise software development experience.

• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

必須要件

• コンピュータサイエンスの学士号または修士号、または同等の経験でコンピュータサイエンスの原則をしっかりと理解していること。
• HTML、CSS、JavaScriptの高いスキルを持つこと。
• 少なくとも1つのモダンなJavaScriptフレームワーク/ライブラリ（例：React、Angular、Vue.js）の習熟度を持つこと。
• 自動テストの作成経験（例：Jest、Karma、Jasmine、Mocha）があること。
• フロントエンドのビルドツールやバージョン管理システムに精通していること。
• ユーザーセンタードデザインの原則と使いやすさのベストプラクティスをしっかりと理解していること。
• レスポンシブデザインの原則とクロスブラウザの互換性についての経験があること。
• チーム環境での効果的なコラボレーションと、割り当てられたタスクにおける自立した作業ができること。
• 問題解決能力が高く、優れた口頭コミュニケーション能力を持つこと。
