Who we are and what we believe in?

A group of digital product and technology enthusiasts, who have been at the forefront of software delivery in the European ecosystem for the last years. We believe that the cognitive gap between "the business" and "the developers" needs to be closed. Most companies can improve on decision making when it comes to technology. Hence, every employee should receive the best education to take better decisions - NATE.

Our story

We are Sarah and Jan Lukas, the founders of NATE. We are passionate about technology and what it can do to people's lifes.

In the light of an ever increasing impact of technology on all aspects of life, we find it frustrating how little universities and companies are able to prepare us for taking decisions in this environment. While developers can use various sources for constant upskilling and basically everyone can do an MBA, there is no qualitative learning path for someone working a business job with a need to better understand the technology she or he is dealing with daily.

This situation will exacerbate the more digital we become. A staggering amount of employees globally is facing the need to upskill today to be able to still take the right decisions tomorrow.

We want to put everyone in the position to take smart business decisions about technology. Hence, we connect both worlds to make learning more effective and future proof.

The role

As a Technical Writer, you are at the core of what NATE wants to create as a proposition. Our content is one of our key differentiators that puts us ahead of competition. In the beginning you will create our first learning modules together with the Co-Founders, your responsibilities can later evolve into:

• Develop a curriculum that provides a conclusive learning path for everyone
• Make sure that our portfolio of learning modules meets the needs of our target audience
• Create frameworks and concepts to explain the most complex of tech solutions
• Ensure for up to date case studies together with the EIRs
• Improve the created contents on an ongoing basis

Based in Berlin or happy to work in a remote setup?

Experience:

Must:

• Creative and engaging writing is your passion
• Bringing compelling stories to live comes easy to you
• You have a strong focus on your target group and the leading arguments of a text
• You feel stronger in the style of Medium than in the style of a newspaper

Nice to have:

• If you can demonstrate experience in creation of learning contents
• If you had prior exposure to Data related topics (analytics, modeling, visualisation, etc.)
• You do not shy away from technical topics
• Experience in the field of computer science is a plus
• Ideally you have already worked in a startup environment
• You are very strong in working by yourself based on your own hypotheses
• Open to interact with founders on a daily basis to get up to speed
