The Role

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help our company find and retain excellent employees. You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand, and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees.

Hi, we are Storyteq! 👋🏼

Storyteq is a Creative Automation platform that empowers digital creative leads, marketing managers, and top global agencies to scale creative production by using the power of unique templating to build, customize, and distribute digital creative assets in bulk.

We believe creativity takes time, but creative production shouldn’t. Since 2016 our mission has been to revolutionize the way creative assets are created. Magic happens when we let technology empower creativity in this way.

Our endless curiosity and relentless commitment to our customers lies at the heart of our approach to solving problems. This common mission is weaved into our values: we take risks (be bold), thrive on change (move fast), and lead with trust (stay familiar).

About the job

To excel as our Talent Acquisition Specialist, we expect you to be experienced in the full-cycle of recruiting and employment branding. You should have a sharp eye for talented people and a steady commitment to help them find success in our company. Responsibilities include leading our recruitment endeavours, providing administrative support to our hiring managers, crafting job descriptions and maintaining databases with candidate information. If you are familiar with recruiting strategies, including sourcing, screening and interviewing methods focused on Tech SaaS Scale-ups, we’d like to meet you.

Our recruitment and HR team is small, so you’ll be taking charge of our hiring activities and be the one responsible together with hiring managers and supported by the office manager with the opportunity to grow a team in the near future. The short term goal is to attract and hire candidates for the open vacancies we have, with the mid term goal of putting strategies and processes in place for sustained growth.

Ultimately, you will help keep our hiring process smooth and ensure we recruit and retain high-performing employees.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans in conjunction with hiring managers.
  • Determine current staffing needs, produce forecasts and recruiting talent
  • Reviewing and assessing incoming applicants as well as actively reaching out both active and passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Craft and update job descriptions
  • Prepare job offer letters in conjunction with hiring managers
  • Conduct compensation and benefits analyses for various roles
  • Organise candidates’ data (e.g. resumes, assignments and contact details) in internal databases
  • Design candidate experience surveys and analyse feedback
  • Perform background and reference checks
  • Coordinate interviews and contact applicants, as needed
  • Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire) and report on our Weekly Company Wide standup
  • Organise our employee referral process, including asking for referrals and managing bonus requests
  • Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling trainings)
  • Design, manage and scale the recruitment team

About you

  • Besides fun to work with, you have...
  • Work experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR partner or similar role
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of labour legislation and international law
  • Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • BSc or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology or relevant field is a plus

Things we love at Storyteq:

  • Be entrepreneurial
  • See and seize opportunities
  • Take ownership
  • Focus on impact
  • Be ambitious
