The Opportunity:
As the Marketing Design Manager at HomeStars, you will have the opportunity to be a part of an amazing growth story as we continue to expand our reach. You’ll be responsible for conceptualization to implementation of the design solution that meets Marketing and business strategies. This role focuses primarily on - 1. Elevating the HomeStars brand improving the overall Brand look/feel for optimized experience (landing pages, website design); 2. Design concept to production for various digital channels 3. Corporate and Sales enablement tools (One pagers, presentation templates, Banner creation) 4. Managing a direct report.
Your typical day at HomeStars:
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and other functional teams to ensure we design on brand and tell a compelling story to our customers.
Develop and recommend design strategies and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are on brand and accessible to users.
Conceptualize and build Impactful brand experiences that elevate the HomeStars brand identity into the future across various content development and distribution channels.
Brainstorm creative ideas with the marketing and other cross-functional teams.
Establish design guidelines, standards, best practices and build templates to empower all teams to scale leveraging brand elements in their collateral - Sales presentations, UX design and Email templates.
Coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to update WordPress sites. Generate business impact through testing and improving the design of the website, landing pages, and other marketing assets.
Maintain the function/impact of websites, emails by enforcing design standards and optimization techniques for performance goals.
Design visual imagery for websites and ensure that they are in line with branding.
Communicate and present to stakeholders design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes. Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
Mentor and manage other designers to support them achieve business & brand objectives
Must-have qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Design or a related experience.
Minimum 5 years experience working as a Marketing Designer or in a related field.
Experienced as a people manager or a function leader.
Expertise in designing for web and mobile.
Experience in designing for Salesforce Pardot.
Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Comfortable using Sketch and/or Figma. Bonus if you have experience with Premiere, After Effects, PowerPoint, and Canva.
Experience working in WordPress - able to code themes and plugins from scratch.
Experience in fundamental coding in HTML, CSS, PHP, JQuery, and JavaScript
Nice-to-have qualifications:
B2B marketing experience is an asset
Understanding of marketplaces, mobile apps and UI/UX design
Experience with Accessible design principles
