Remote Tax Accountant

*CSI Companies is seeking Remote Seasonal Tax Accountants for our client - a top global accounting firm! *

As an Income and Franchise Tax contractor within the Multistate Tax Services group, you will provide compliance services to a core client base. You will work directly with our tax engagement teams in state taxation by working on large, complex tax projects, and have access to exceptional specialists and resources.

Responsibilities:

• Performing a technical review of partnership and corporate state tax returns and work papers with attention to multistate tax issues such as apportionment, state modifications, nexus, unitary filings, and flow-through taxation.
• Performing reviews of estimated payment and withholding calculations and related filings.
• Researching state tax legislation and assisting with impact on compliance.
• Collaboration with in-house Tax team. Requirements:
• 2+ years; experience preparing and/or reviewing state income and franchise tax returns.
• Public Accounting experience
• Experience in OneSource, GoSystems and/or similar tax software and a strong interest in learning new technology.
• Excellent communications skills
• State Tax Analysis, Planning & Research experience
• Advanced Tax Technology experience
