Product marketer

We are contrating a part-time product marketer to help us connect with potential customers and build a growth strategy. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• You will influence pricing and guide the founder on how to position the product in the market
• Build on product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
• Communicate the vision and value of the product and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
• Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products
• Brief the press about new products
• Take part in presentations
• Obtain insights into customers’ usage of the product, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
• Use market research data to establish product pricing
• Create content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts
• Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences
• Test new functionality
• Propose and keep within a budget
• Research competitor offerings
• Define KPIs to measure success

This is a part-time and temporary role and the responsibilities above are not all-inclusive. This role can be your only project or can be managed outside of a full-time job or in parallel with your other projects. This is an opportunity to work directly with the startup founder and shape the initial strategies to position the product for launch. You should be light on your feet, flexible and adaptable to change in a fast pace environment. You do not need a high-technical aptitude but should be able to translate the technology and the product to connect wtih the Brazilian consumer.
