Augmentti is no ordinary start-up. We officially launched in 2018 and since then we have worked closely with some of the world’s most successful, innovative and tech-driven firms across Quant Finance and FinTech. Our goal is simple, to make them more effective and efficient, by supporting them with the most important part of their business – their people.

We have been hugely successful as a collective by putting people at the heart of everything we do. Now our 3 founders (Ben, Jamie and Sophie) want to pull together years of success in the world of talent and recruitment to make a bigger impact and to do that we need help, enter Augmentti 2.0.

Augmentti 2.0 launched in January 2022 in London, although we operate across Europe, North America & Asia, and specifically cover the systematic trading and technology ecosystem spanning TradFi and Digital Assets markets.

We are constantly looking at how we can do something differently, try something new or use technology to stand out in a hugely competitive market. Our passion for problem solving, questioning the status quo, use of RecTech, and deep-rooted, long-standing relationships, give us a unique perspective and huge scope to build an awesome talent business, and we are looking for people to join us on this journey 

As well as traditional recruitment, we also help our clients with talent related projects and strategy. We have big plans for Augmentti and our Talent Research function is fundamental to those. But more on that later…. 😉

Talent Engine

Our vision is to build an industry leading talent ‘engine’, focused exclusively on all aspects of identifying, engaging, and nurturing top talent across trading, research and technology functions. Our approach requires people who can wear many hats: problem solvers, creative writers, researchers, relationship builders, and confidantes.

The goal of our Talent Engine is to find new and innovative ways to engage with top talent on and off-line, and stand out in a highly competitive, technical space. Our markets require a long-term approach, aimed at developing long-standing, mutually beneficial relationships with individuals. Changing job is a big move, we get that! So we aim to be as consultative as possible, trusted advisors to world leading engineers and traders in our space. We will give you all the training, tools and support so that you can become an industry specialist in your niche, build your own personal brand using social media, and ultimately be hugely successful.

There’s opportunity to meet with experts in our markets and even go onsite with some of our awesome clients so you can learn directly from the best! You will get unique insights and knowledge around technology and trading, what our clients and their teams actually do, what looks good to them and why.

Short-term, the role will be focused on:

  • Identifying and engaging with technical trading and technology talent using creative engagement and effective sourcing strategies
  • Connecting your candidates with opportunities that exist within our clients – you’ll have complete access to every open mandate we are hiring for across all of our client organisations
  • Developing a deep understanding of the market, our specific clients, and their requirements by working closely with the founders and clients directly
  • Working on strategic projects to build technology and trading communities, as well as on talent pipelining for our clients’ future hiring plans
  • Innovation! How can we stand out from the crowd?

But that’s just the beginning, for those interested, longer-term our Technical Recruiter’s will be empowered to pursue a number of strategic initiatives depending on their interests and strengths. Things on our mind at the moment - podcasts, content curation, brand building, team building, working on-site/directly with our clients and our talent consulting build out… but we are very open to new ideas and trying things out!

About you:

We’re looking for recruiters or researchers who think/know there’s a better way… Ideally, you have 6 – 30 months of technical recruiter experience in a boutique agency, you are amazing at engaging with candidates and really understand your subject matter but ultimately, your skills and potential are what matter. We are looking for:
