Business Development Lead

Reports to, Co-Founder & Managing Director.

Essential functions - what best describes you?

• You have outstanding commercial intuition and judgement; you enjoy the process of negotiation & building of high-value, mutual beneficial relationships
• You are an action-oriented, extroverted self-starter and enjoy connecting with people over the phone, via e-mail and in person
• You are proactive and enjoy taking matters in your own hand and getting the answers you need by finding the right point of contact and picking up the phone
• You are open-minded and communicative, and work best when collaborating.
• You enjoy working with cross-functional teams in remote/hybrid environments.
• You have a business fluency in German and English.
• You have a passion for sustainability and are willing to challenge team members’ and leadership’s decisions, if these do not represent the company’s commitment to sustainability.

The results we hope to support you to achieve

• Increase intellectual property (IP) and technology deal flow by building close relationships with leading universities and their tech transfer offices while and positioning one.five as a trusted commercial partner.
• Oversee advisor & subject-matter expert management including the recruitment, closing and onboarding of additional advisor & subject-matter experts by leveraging LinkedIn & other platforms.
• Manage vetting process of potential development & scale-up partner according to the needs of the product.
• Review and manage incoming applications for our “Scientist in Residence” program from interested researchers/scientists/inventors.
• Represent one.fıve externally in industry alliances, project committees & events to display a deep understanding of how one.fıve generates impact for partners & customers.
