(Senior) FullStack Engineer NestJS / React (f/m/x)

We are driven by our vision to build a software platform that redefines how millions of B2B sellers and buyers across the globe interact and close deals. We aspire to transform the B2B sales tech market as companies such as Salesforce and HubSpot have done so over the past 20 years.

We are a group of highly ambitious, entrepreneurial, and fun people backed by first-class VC investors (Picus Capital, XAnge, 10X Founders and several business angels). Our HQ is located in Hamburg - but we have colleagues working entirely remotely from across Germany, e.g. Berlin and Munich. We regularly come together somewhere in Germany to put our heads together and have fun.

Your role 🎯

In close collaboration with our CTO, your dev team colleagues and product design team you will be building a B2B SaaS product that will define an entire new product category within the space for sales software. Our ambition and your mission will be to create a software that gives complex B2B buying processes the look & feel of simplicity.
You will make a significant contribution to our development and carve out your name on the newest B2B sales product.

Tasks

• Develop backends using TypeScript, NestJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL (and RabbitMQ)
• Create frontends with React, TypeScript and Styled Components (Tailwind CSS)
• Improve our cloud CI/CD pipeline to outperform competitors (Qovery, AWS)
• Do research, experiment and find new ingenious ways to extend our possibilities.
• Together with the CTO and your colleagues shape our technical strategy. Discuss with us and share your tech knowledge/experience.
• We value learning a lot! You are not required to know everything at any point – we don't know everything either. ✌️

Requirements

You consider yourself a JavaScript/TypeScript generalist when it comes to the web and cloud stack and enjoy tackling a diverse set of challenges, thinking end-to-end

• You are proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)
• You are proficient with backend Javascript frameworks such as NodeJS, ExpressJS, or NestJS (incl. TypeScript)
• You are experienced with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

You have a growth mindset and feel comfortable in the ambiguous, evolving and exciting environment of a start-up like Valuecase
