Online Marketplace Manager

We’re looking for a vendor-focused problem solver to join our team. As part of the team, you will handle requests, troubleshoot merchant issues, utilise data to evaluate areas for improvement, build-out processes, create knowledge/training documentation and take our ecommerce experience to the next level.

With requests for support from our expanding base of vendors, you will be responsible for speaking directly with vendors and customers working closely with our team to deliver on our brand promise and ensure everyone's needs are met.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the voice of The Together Project and be the first point of contact.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely and positive manner
• Coordinate with the rest of the team to swiftly address inquiries related to our platform, product questions, order issues, delays, etc.
• Evaluate feedback and communicate insights to other internal teams, including marketing, product development, strategy, and tech, to optimise the user experience
• Build out processes, documentation and training documents
• Guide vendors through the initial onboarding process
• Educate vendors on various The Together Project offerings and empower brands to succeed through ongoing training and support
• Implement best practices to enable vendors to scale quickly
• Assist with the preparation of products to go live in our backend system, including uploading imagery, setting e-comm attributes, and cross-checking copy & category mapping
• Assist with writing brand specific product descriptions in The Together Project tone of voice with SEO best practices in mind
• Daily maintenance of Woocommerce
• Work with the editorial team to produce content in line with upcoming product and brand launches
• Assist with customer service enquiries
• Assist with vendor onboarding and management
• Ensure all brands and products are in line with The Together Project
• Assist with marketing campaigns and creative projects
• Assist with sample management and product photoshoots
• General administration

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
2. 1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably with some business development experience or account management experience
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong organisation and time management skills
5. Previous experience working in a business to business merchant, vendor, or customer-facing role is preferred
6. Ability to adapt in a rapid growth environment and contribute wherever there are needs and flex as priorities shift
7. Technical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
8. Wordpress/Woocommerce experience preferable
