The Role
Responsibilities Include The Following
• Partner with the other HODs to define and drive substantial parts of the customer experience for the respective categories.
• Establish website data quality metrics and drive continuous improvements.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development leaders to identify anchor merchant targets and offer competing prices to customers.
• Create opportunities to build relationships with vendors to improve the overall experience.
• Develop effective traffic and online marketing strategies.
• Prepare business cases for category-specific initiatives targeted at improving category experience and partner with the appropriate cross-functional teams to deliver them.
• Ensure compelling category content to help customers find and select products.

• Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage a program “by the numbers”. Must be metrics-driven.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented. Proven ability to influence others.
• Understanding of retail business in the respective category highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is desirable.
• Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap.
Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements.
