Hardware Tech (full-time in-person role):
Foresight Analytics is changing auto insurance by applying Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology to driving and risk analysis. We use AI-cameras in cars/trucks to help measure driving performance of professional drivers and help improve them through coaching to make our roads safer.
We take a data-driven approach, made unique by computer vision solutions inside each vehicle. We enable auto insurance to stay relevant in the coming era of self-driving cars while bringing substantial savings to drivers on their premiums today. We have a very tall tech stack, from PCB and consumer product design all the way to cloud software, Machine Learning, and big data analytics.
You will be joining a team of highly qualified engineers and scientists in helping shape the future of transportation. You will build an amazing product you can feel and touch impacting the safety of everyone on the road, all the while helping build a company from the ground up by influencing its culture. We are a small (5-10 person) and growing team and see this position as a step towards becoming a foundational piece of a rocketing startup company.
Collaborate with the engineering team to assemble and test AI-powered cameras, ensuring they meet quality standards and performance specifications.
Inventorying components, quality checking products and final assembly of AI camera using small hand held tools.
Work closely with our manufacturing partners to optimize production processes, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure a seamless workflow for camera assembly.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and functionality of each AI camera unit before installation.
Interact with customers professionally, providing clear explanations of the installation process, addressing any concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of production processes, installation procedures and customer interactions to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Diagnose and resolve any issues related to camera functionality or installation, both remotely and on-site.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and customer support, to enhance overall product performance and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Strong background in electronics and hardware assembly, with experience in handling, testing, and troubleshooting electronics.
Previous experience in a hands-on role involving the production and assembly of electronic devices, ideally in a manufacturing or technology setting.
Proficient in on-site installation processes, with a focus on precision and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, ensuring a positive experience during installations.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, both independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment, wearing multiple hats, and contributing to various aspects of the product lifecycle.
Enthusiastic about collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and scientists to achieve collective goals.
Willingness to travel to customer locations for on-site installations as needed.

Education & Experience:
• Graduate or Prospective Undergraduate degree in a related field (Engineering, Technology, Trades)
• Full G driving license is required.
