We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded senior financial analyst to join our finance team as we continue to propel the business growth through providing meaningful insights. This individual performs a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, ROI analysis, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes.
This position will join the Finance team in the Santa Clara office, and report directly to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with R&D, Bus Ops and Accounting teams to understand the underlying drivers of COGS and Opex and analyze Gross Margin.
- Calculate return on investment and other financial metrics for different business plans and Corporate Marketing initiatives.
- Collect from domain owners financial and operational data essential for monthly Business Lines Profit and Loss reports. Consolidate the data and prepare a monthly P&L and SaaS metrics Dashboard.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting Cash Flow by gathering, analyzing, and challenging data on forecasted collection and payments.
- Help managing a highly accurate cash forecasting Model.
- Assisting with the due diligence process for potential M&A transactions
- Analyzing company's financial statements and conducting a research and benchmarking of its key performance metrics to industry bests.
- Help selecting and implementing advanced Cloud Planning and Modeling solution (CPM) to enable complex scenario planning capabilities
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
- An Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- NetSuite and CPM / FP&A modeling software (i.e Adaptive , Anaplan, Planful, Jedox, etc.) prior experience highly preferred
