# The challenges you’ll help to tackle

• We plan to process £1B of client money transactions within 12-18 months; can you refine, build and operate effective systems and processes to scale that quickly?
• Our business is growing fast; how do you balance your time between delivering accurate results on daily reconciliations and other finance team processes, with the project work required to enable us to scale faster?
• How do you implement best in class risk management and financial controls without slowing the pace of product development or dampening the entrepreneurial spirit of the company?

# The impact you'll have

• You will be integral in the development of client money processes and implementation of CASS policies, procedures, reporting and controls.
• As the first dedicated finance team hire you will also assist with the running and improving of a variety of team processes including invoicing, aged receivables, management reporting, bookkeeping oversight, etc.
• You will help manage high impact operational and finance team projects to ensure we scale efficiently, for example optimising our banking infrastructure or testing a cash management tool.

# Who you are

• Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of CASS rules and application/treatment, with experience running related processes, for example daily reconciliations
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with commensurate professional experience within a regulated financial services firm.
• Highly numerical, but with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders across the business
• Organised and calm under pressure, you are able to manage competing demands on your time, whilst persevering to solve ambiguous problems.
• Interested in venture capital: you understand our business model and are ready to roll up your sleeves in a start-up environment.
