Data Science Instructor

Primary Function: Empower life change for data science students by delivering curriculum and facilitating learning.
Location: Dallas, TX

Use your technical skills to teach others and launch the careers of new data scientists! As an instructor, you will deliver our custom curriculum to our classes of adults students via lectures, walk-throughs, exercises, and projects, while supporting students individually in 1x1’s and office hours. You’ll also help continually improve and build upon the Codeup curriculum. Whether you’re a life-long teacher or excited by a new challenge, we’d love to talk.

About You:

• Passionate about Codeup’s mission to empower life change and excited to help others realize their potential
• Strong technical skills in Python and SQL
• Experience or exposure to Machine Learning techniques (Regression, Classification, Clustering, Times Series Analysis), Natural Language Processing, Anomaly Detection, and Distributed Data
• 1-2 years of industry experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, or similar field
• Fleuncy in a code editor (VS Code, Jupyter Notebook, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Life-long learner
