The Accounting Manager will provide critical support to the VP of Finance & Technology in a variety of areas including financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable activities, and process ownership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage financial information, analyze financial documents, and advise on various financial decisions.
Propose, implement, and own various accounting processes, including robust monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, as well as engaging with goal/priority setting, budgeting, and reforecasting.
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts and bank statement, including managing monthly consolidation schedules and journal entries.
Manage AP, AR, and Payroll processes, including subscription billing and payment receipts.
Generate monthly and annual operating reports, including budget vs actual, cash flow, and P&L.
Assist ensuring cash is managed appropriately with the proper internal controls.
Minimum Qualifications (education, experience)
5+ years of experience in all facets of accounting and finance including GL, AP, AR, PR, budgeting/forecasting, and reconciliations.
1+ years of transactional accounting experience using multiple software products (including QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Intacct) for/in professional organizations.
Proficient in Microsoft 365.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Previous Salesforce experience preferred.
