About the role:
We are looking for a Sr. Software Developer to add to our amazing team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, out-of-the-box thinking individual who is out to change the world. If you bring a strong customer focus, with a data-driven approach and you work well with minimal direction but you’re big on collaboration; you stand up for the users' needs, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment this could be the perfect role for you. You also need to have a keen attention to detail, love solving complex problems, and help transform them into delightful, easy-to-use solutions.

About the job:
Design, code, and test major features in collaboration with Team Members to deliver complex changes.
Define, design, and implement, multi-tiered object-oriented distributed software applications
Maintain and modify existing applications
Perform maintenance programming for existing version
Fix defects and add features to software
Debug and test software implementation
Ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and system architecture for each assignment
Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration
Mentor and supervise junior and intermediate developers
Provide recommendations for improvements in the overall development process
Ensure work progress to schedule and keep (internal) customers informed of project progress
Stay current with trends, techniques, technology and other factors impacting the job
Actively participate in team meetings and offer recommendations /ideas on projects.

Qualifications:
5+ years of software development experience
B.Sc. in Computing Science
Strong Node.js+TypeScript skills plus fluency in React or Angular
Ability to communicate instructional concepts to junior team members with a sensitivity to personal ability and cultural diversity.
Superior organizational skills with significant attention to detail

Serious bonus points if you:
Experience in technology (more specifically Bitcoin) startup environments
Experience with WordPress
Basic understanding of bitcoin
Desire to change the world
