Software QA Analyst

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to build upon our commitment to quality and work with software engineers to ensure the delivery of quality applications. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with the drive necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy, security, reliability, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product features to confirm quality, conformance to specifications, and quality deliverables
• Carefully maintain complaint and non-conformance processing through tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
• Support product owners and technical project managers in definition and documentation of acceptance criteria for software development activities
• Assist operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels
• Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, and methods
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
