ROLE 👩🏽‍💻🧑‍💻

As a Cloud Data Engineer at experdata, you will be part of the engineering team developing the experdata platform. You’ll report directly to the CTO and help the team fulfil technical, operational, and business requirements by putting yourself in the trenches. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering great and scalable software.

What will you do as a Data Engineer:

You’ll design, architect, implement, integrate, deploy and monitor various cloud-native data pipelines.
Collaborate with other engineers, including continuous technical guidance and feedback on others code.
Be accountable for the successful delivery of components from ideation to delivery and maintenance.
Establish and exemplify high software engineering and operational standards.

Then, you should have:

2+ years professional experience with Python;
1+ years of hands-on experience with all aspects of designing, developing, testing, deploying and monitoring Data Pipelines;
1+ years experience with AWS (S3, lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.);
Experience with creating scripts for Web Scraping (ideally asynchronous scraping);
Experience in setting up DevOps processes for medium to large projects (from a technical perspective);
Experience with software development and software development life cycle from a DevOps perspective (CI/CD, testing & monitoring);
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, without burning out;
Good verbal and written communication;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
