We are looking to meet our new Full Stack Developer, to join us office and contribute to our mission of democratizing K12 Education in Latam.

As the Full Stack Developer for Luca, you will be working as a core member of Luca´s team and interacting directly with the other departments.

You know what empathy is and like autonomy. You are also self-motivated and energetic Full Stack Developer who believes that this planet would be much better through better education.

You love a fast-paced environment, but you also know that “fast-paced” can be incredibly fun, zen, and supportive... ah, and you are not arrogant and treat people the same way you would like to be treated.

You should be goal-oriented and keen to implement processes, automation and work with no-code tools. You can work without any supervision or mentorship, but you don't mind asking if needed (after you tried, or asked father Google).

Your responsibilities…

• High accountability and ownership of your work
• You’re excited to work on a fast-moving team and deal with exponential platform growth
• You’re able to effectively balance speed/quality/tech debt and make engineering decisions that enable speed while maintaining quality results
• Collaborate with tech and product team on new feature design, development, and implementation
• A self-starter, able to work in a remote environment without constant supervision
• Direct communication in supporting our Customer Experience, Product, and general Business teams as needed.

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 3+ years of software development experience.
• Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience in React js, Node.js and PHP/Laravel.
• Full-stack developer with extensive knowledge and experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Extensive experience in API design and development
• Experience with MySQL, including query design and optimization.
• Experience building backend components for web applications.
• Experience with payment integrations like Dlocal/Stripe.
• Good to have knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with a statically typed language like TypeScript.

👣 Achieved industry leading NPS at 84 , above 51 Education sector average NPS
