Full Stack Web Developer

Who are we?
Started in 2015 by IIT Bombay Alumni Rocketbox is a tech startup working on solving the problems of the 200 Billion USD logistics market. We have 2 primary business verticals - Full Truckload spread in all major Tier-I cities of India and LTL where we service across 28,000+ pin codes of India. We have completed two rounds of funding backed by seasoned investors.

What will you be doing?

• Develop, deploy and maintain scalable product.
• Pair with team members for functional and nonfunctional requirements and write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
• Passionate about writing clean code and wants to continuously improve the system.
• Effectively communicate, collaborate and work across teams.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Help to define roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
• Understand business requirements and work closely with the business to provide solutions.

*Key Qualification & Eligibility criteria: *

• Must have 2+ years of work experience as a Python/Django (Back-end) and React (Front-end) developer**
• Expertise in Django Framework. Others frameworks like Flask Pyramid knowledge is good to have
• Hands on experience with React and Javascript.
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
• Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS good to have.
• Experience with DevOps tool chains such as Docker, Travis CI, Jenkins, Git good to have
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application**
