YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the early team, you can have a big impact in the development of the company. You are here for a multi-year journey to transform both the mobility and energy sectors. We are looking for a full-time backend or full stack developer who can help us to develop the best product enabling a real-time interaction with the system. In the beginning, the solution consists of an automatic charging optimization performed with our own algorithm and via APIs to charging stations or vehicle backends. It will send start and stop requests based on a charging schedule that is computed by our algorithm that optimizes for the lowest electricity costs considering the mobility, charging infrastructure, vehicles, power market, grid, local solar energy and battery data. As every fleet managing company has different vehicles or charging stations you will have to set up and maintain API connections. A dashboard displays all the data. We are looking to provide further services like an electric fleet and private charging infrastructure configurator and public charging navigation and recommendation and trade electricity. This position will evolve in a team leadership role. You will hire and lead a team. The optimal IT architecture according to the market restrictions and growth in different geographies and segments will have to be chosen. There will be customers, partners and investors meetings.
You will
• APIs & Protocols: Implement APIs of chargers, vehicle OEM aggregators, or specific chargers and OEMs, or charge point management systems. Implement other types of APIs like ERPs, fleet management, transport management systems, solar inverters and batteries. Implement energy and charging protocols like OCPP, OCPI, EEbus.
• Backend connection: Make sure our web app connects to a scalable backend solution like AWS.
• Front end development: Based on the created mockups create a mobile responsive web app. Currently we use bubble and are ready to move to a fully customized solution.
• Plus, Product management: Participate in product development like translating business requirements into compelling UX designs and into a functioning front end.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND VALUES
Ability to accomplish and experience for the attributes below is required.
• Tech visionary.
• Development of a real-time infrastructure in which the optimization algorithms can operate.
• Creation of interfaces with partners such as charging station operators, fleet operators, electric vehicles, etc.
• Backend and front end development.
• Solid IT background and experience in the creation of web services.
• Product architecture.
• Database management.
• Ability to conceptualize and solve complex real-world problems.
• Leadership, ability to interact with people coming from different backgrounds, different cultures, different roles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills level in English is a requirement, other European languages are an asset.
• Knowledge in Data science & machine learning is a plus.
• Charging infrastructure, mobility or electricity background is a big plus.
