Senior Product Designer (m/f/d)

Your Role
We're looking for our first Product Designer at Apothera. A talented designer passionate about creating elegant solutions to complex problems to help design the future of healthcare. You'll own design at Apothera, working throughout the product development lifecycle, from new ideas all the way to detailed interactions and polished visuals.

Your Mission

• Own the design of the Apothera app, creating end-to-end user experiences from initial concept through to release and beyond.
• Take full-cycle ownership of your work from ideation, design, review and feedback in the final test build and after release.
• Craft flows, prototypes, and experiences that clearly solve user needs, knowing when to lean on established design practices and when to break them
• Partner closely with product, developers, and business to understand priorities, capabilities and translate designs into released product
• Stay customer-focused. Your primary goal is to consistently deliver value to the customer and stay true to the company mission
• Evolve our team culture and processes through collaboration, participation in sprint rituals, and mutual mentorship

Your Skills

• You have 5+ years of experience in product design in an agile software development environment (preferably with a B2C product), in a cross-functional collaboration with designers, product managers, developers and researchers along the way
• Demonstrable professional product design experience delivering an end-to-end user experience for mobile apps
• You are passionate about consumer, mobile, and healthcare
• You have experience conducting user research, usability studies, and you can quickly turn insights and requirements into relevant design solutions
• You are an experienced prototype builder (preferably in Figma) and develop design systems
• You are pragmatic, with a strong sense of ownership over your work and you have experience working with other designers to help them learn and grow
• You're skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and crave feedback to help you produce your best work
• You always think MVP first, collaborate effectively with engineers and have the ability to work in an agile and fast-paced team
• Fluent in English and German *
