Supply Chain and Business Operations Manager

Seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is passionate about the workings of an e-commerce business and can optimize and scale Business and Supply Chain Operations of the company. This is a role that provides exposure to Sourcing, Inventory Management, Logistics, Planning, Operations, Vendor and Business management. We’d love to have someone on board who is ready to take on challenges to support the business and work dynamically in areas other than operations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain database of Vegan & Cruelty-free brands and products on Alt Mart
• Onboard brands, Negotiate and Contract Management
• Inventory Management: Issue purchase orders to suppliers,
• MIS Reporting and Monthly Accounting
• E-commerce Management: Product Listings, Stock and Offers update
• Customer Order fulfillment: Review orders received, pack and assign delivery, follow-up until products are delivered
• Create shipping labels/ coordinate deliveries
• Work with suppliers and customers on any order related issues
• Customer follow-up communication: Reviews and feedback
• Improve workflow/processes
• Other administrative work: Invoicing, Monthly Order and Cash Flow tally etc.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role - Business and Retail operations
• Fluent in English
• Basic accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
• Inventory Management experience
• Customer service experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Previous experience in Retail business preferred
• Knowledge and experience in Ecommerce business operations would be a plus
