The Role

We are looking for a Junior Proposal Writer to work alongside our team and help us build and maintain Artit's projects and programs. Through this placement, you will experience the flexible and fast-paced environment of a technology start-up in the industry of Arts & Culture, and be in the forefront of our business development and grant funding opportunities.

Your responsibilities

You will work closely with the operations and business development team to prepare proposals with the opportunity to develop strategical and innovative content at the intersection of research, technology and arts. This is an ideal opportunity if you are interested in pursuing a career in a field related to research and development or if you are looking to get hands-on experience in securing funding from private, national and international authorities and bodies. As a Junior Proposal Writer you will be part of the Business Development Team, with the primary objective to contribute to develop applications for the UK National Lottery Fund, Creative Europe, Erasmus+, and other grant-based funding opportunities, setting the cornerstones for our future projects and initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Excellent written English skills: who can demonstrate their ability to write clearly and succinctly
  • Creativity and ability to quickly synthesise information and think outside the box
  • Good time management skills; self-organised, able to multitask and capable of working towards deadlines
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, curious, and pro-active: able to multi-task independently within a fast-paced team environment
  • Degree within any science-based discipline (desirable), and with a passion for Arts &Culture.

Contract length: 6 months
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Hours and pay: Total hours per week 25.00
Days and hours: 25 Hours per week.
Fixed days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 10:00 to 12:00 or 14:00 to 17:00
Hourly Pay: National minimum wage
Working Conditions : Work from home
