Who we are:

The Village is a human platform where people of the world gather together to share their life stories. It is an innovative model for interactive storytelling, transformative entertainment, and social impact. In the face of widespread discrimination, a pandemic of loneliness and planetary crisis, the Village is a global peace initiative that celebrates our humanity.

We are in the early stages but are quickly growing a world-class network of advisors and community partners, including business guru Henry Mintzberg, BlogHer Co-Founder Elisa Camahort Page, and Abigail Disney’s organization Peace is Loud.

The opportunity:

We are on the hunt for a talented and ambitious business partner/co-founder to structure, help raise the financing for, and run the business of The Village. You will be the driving force in transforming our vision/mission into a viable business model to scale. You will be supported by our global network of advisors and super-connectors in raising the financing to pay our highly motivated team and develop The Village. You will get to collaborate with social impact organizations and changemakers from all over the world: activists, artists, educators, scientists, and visionary leaders. You will be challenged and inspired every day, and have a profound impact on the world.

Where we’re located:

The Village is based in Montreal, Canada, but we work mostly remotely. We are open to applicants worldwide, with a preference for people in Montreal or cities close by.

Compensation:

There will be no salary until our Seed Round is raised, but we will offer competitive compensation beyond that. We are open to you starting out part-time, but expect you to join full time once we are at scale.
