As an Account Manager, you will provide the client with analytical and sales power required to drive advertiser acquisition and overall business growth of your portfolio. You'll collaborate closely with senior Hylink team members, identify sales and business development opportunities, and share Hylink’s client resources to internal teams. You will evangelize new Hylink products and technologies throughout the agency, and develop and manage strong relationships with internal agency influencers and decision-makers, driving scalable product adoption and growth across the broader portfolio of accounts.
Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. Using your influential, relationship-building skills, you provide Hylink-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Hylink's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with your clients, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day as well as long-term schedules of key agency management.
- Support the client relationship on assigned brand(s); presenting the agency’s recommendations, points-of-view, or strategy, to effectively influence the client to achieve brand objectives.
- Communicate on a regular basis with HQ in Asia
- Identify sales and business development opportunities, and keep strong relationships with agency influencers and client decision-makers.
- Work with the new business team and strategy team to respond to RFPs and proactively identify ways to further engage and grow assigned accounts.
- Solidify executive relationships and drive revenue growth with target agencies/clients.
- Execute strategy, provide brand stewardship and maintain strong client satisfaction on assigned brand(s).Ensure that team members know and follow established agency account procedures, including but not limited to: account files, approval process and status reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 3-5 years experience in advertising sales, marketing, tourism or media.
- Ability to speak English fluently.
- Ability to speak Mandarin.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with tech hardware, software or SaaS companies
- Experience in integrated marketing communication account management from a creative or media background
- Knowledge of, and established relationships, within the advertising or client verticals.
- A deep understanding of the industry's issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Hylink's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.
- Balanced team player dedicated to client service.
- Ability to lead a team of account and cross-functional team members
- Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of developing agency partners and successfully driving new and direct client business opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
