We continue to develop our brand and products autonomously. Manage your heating and energy savings thanks to our Smart Thermostat, detect the presence of intruders using our cameras, which combine artificial intelligence and image processing software, … We also collaborate with strategic partners including the Muller Group, Velux and Legrand to create a range of products that will revolutionise your home.

With an international team of 250 motivated and passionate individuals with over 20 nationalities represented amongst our teams primarily located in the Paris region, Netatmo is always on the lookout for new talent to promote its development.

The mission: Be the best coach as possible

As of the Netatmo Lead iOS, you will lead our iOS engineers and help them to keep improving so that we can continue to deliver the best IoT applications on iOS as possible. Thanks to your own iOS engineer experience, you will represent the platform and its specificities at Netatmo, improve technical and team spirit cohesion at the iOS team level and last but not the least contribute to the vision we advocate for our apps by working hand to hand with the Lead Android and the Lead UX/UI Designer.

You will participate in:

Designing and implementing technical layers with our seniors engineers team to support new products and user features (60% of the time).
Looking at team’s pains to help improving our existing teams habits and rituals (20% of the time)
Forecasting the next generation of features for our current iOS users to provide regular updates for our existing apps (20% of the time)
At Netatmo, you will:

Share visibility and knowledge with every iOS engineers so that as a team we can keep growing our skills to avoid local optimum.
Include business constraint to focus technical team effort on iOS features which bring an edge in the IoT world when it comes to control or monitor your home.
Schedule short term and long term needs to sustain high durability for our technical layers and applications.
In the Apps Team, you will develop companion apps:

Embedded engineers are new partners in crime who bring even more complexity to the bi-directional app to backend communication.
Financial wealth is ensured by product sales which means that apps can remain free of ADs SDKs.
Product are designed with privacy first in mind which means thatapps don’t interact with data brokers.
Time spent by the user inside the app isn’t a KPI which means that apps don’t have to battle for human brain time.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering.

Previous experience in leading a team of at least 4 developers and great communication skills.

A good knowledge of iOS SDK, Swift, app architecture and maintenance practices over time.

Interested in decision making, team cohesion and time management.

Flexible, able to work with input from various engineering domains and have a strong team spirit.
