Senior DevOps Engineer

As DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the bleeding edge of combining industry insights and techniques to transform anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) solutions. You will be responsible for co-developing and implementing the architecture and infrastructure on our public cloud. You will work with Software Engineers to create a robust, secure and scalable platform for monitoring transactions and customer data.

Furthermore, you will work with clients to ensure their systems and ours integrate well.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the infrastructure as code in our public cloud environment that meets the team's and our customers' requirements.
You will be able to provide infrastructure-related insight to our developers regarding databases, APIs, user interfaces, and web services that will help grow our product as a service-oriented solution.
Support automation and autonomy of operations for our development teams by implementing CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Support, mentor and coach team members to the top of their potential.
Requirements
You have previously held a senior position with 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/ DevOps-oriented Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer or comparable.
Experience in AWS cloud-based environments and have previously managed significant production workloads on such systems. Certificates are a pre.
Well known with a managed Kubernetes platform (on the public cloud) and able to manage workloads that scale well, are secure by default and meet high availability demands.
Bachelor’s degree level of education in computer science or comparable.
Knowledge of various programming/coding languages (of which Python is a big pre), broad experience with web services (back-ends, APIs, frontends), and tools such as Git, Linux and Jira/Stash.
Experience with code refactoring and other good engineering practices such as designing a proof of concepts, test automation, application and infrastructure security
Huge bonus points for a background in fintech, payments or banking!

Nice to have

You have managed workloads in environments where a high level of security implementation, such as ISO27001, SOC2 or PCI/DSS
Experience with AWS Security hub, CloudWatch and Config is an advantage
