We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) with deep knowledge in database technologies and strong problem-solving skills. You will give your best to build and scale the infrastructure of our high technology product. Join our engineering team with 21 developers and experts as Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/d).

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and integrate systems to improve current or new processes throughout all departments.
• Continuous improvement of multi-cloud and on-premises installations in a highly secured environment.
• Investigation of problems: from code to kernel, including security.
• Build services, tooling and create processes that simplifies and enable engineers across multiple teams.
• Enhance our monitoring and alerting setup, as well as tweaking CI/CD pipelines.
• You have ambitious quality objectives and accompany the entire process, from concept over implementation through testing to go-live.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• You are a DevOps allrounder and have knowledge in the following modern distributed computing areas (advanced experience in at least one of them)
• Linux, Bash and Docker containers
• Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration system such as Nomad or ECS
• Automated deployment tools like SaltStack, Ansible or Chef
• Infrastructure as Code, namely Terraform or CloudFormation
• High Available SQL and NoSQL databases, we use MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and RabbitMQ
• Proficient in a programming language as Python or Golang
• You have a computer engineering/science degree or related technical experience
• Analytical and structured working style and ability to work independently in a result-oriented way
• Agile and service-oriented mindset with outstanding communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English (German is a plus)
