We are looking for a Front-end engineer to lead the Front-end architecture and web development with a keen eye for design and UX/UI. You will join a growing and talented team in an exciting project where you will learn, boost your skills and have a real impact in our company and users.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure web application performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.
• Create quality mockups and prototypes, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs.
• Write reusable code and libraries to a standard which makes it quick and easy to maintain the code in the future.
• You will communicate synchronously and asynchronously in a distributed team.
• You will work to create high-quality solutions in ClojureScript and React.
• You will be exposed to cloud infrastructure (AWS) and a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment system.
• You will work with agile methodologies and develop technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar.
• Experience in software code development in web environments: React, Angular or similar.
• Interest in functional programming such as ClojureScript.
• Experience with front end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Cypress etc).
• Experience with view layout and rendering technologies (e.g., responsiveness, progressive enhancement, browser/device support).
• Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience building rich data-driven web applications by consuming RESTful services and APIs.
• Exposure or knowledge about CI/CD, pipelines, Docker.
• Languages: English and Spanish.
