The Role

GoTab is looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, and fun-spirited Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team. GoTab is creating the next generation dining experience with app-free QR-based ordering, payments, and a kitchen operations management system for the hospitality industry. As a Sales Operations Coordinator, you will work in an exciting, fast-paced start-up environment. Your main objective will be to introduce hospitality operators to the GoTab QR-based ordering and payment system by proactively identifying potential customers. Your days will be spent supporting Account Executives with outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.

Please note - this is not a fully-remote position, but will be hybrid in-person at our office in Arlington, VA and remote.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude, while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads.
  • Support Senior Sales staff and Sales Representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.
  • Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the Sales Representatives.
  • First point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
  • Establish proactive and recurring communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
  • Collaborate with sales staff by bringing innovative, lead generating ideas to each weekly meeting
  • Assist in the design process and production of print materials and physical media for restaurants, bars, and venues.
  • Maintain organization within the office.
  • Put together Swag Bags for all new employees and ensure they are mailed out.
  • Mail any necessary equipment to remote team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as relates to product usability and performance based on consumer feedback.
  • Assist with any local events that GoTab is participating in or attending.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills & Requirements

  • Hospitality and/or restaurant experience preferred.
  • Social media influencer in the food space of the local market preferred.
  • Previous entry-level sales experience preferred Technical acumen.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Great written and verbal communicator
  • Strong interest in marketing, design, and technology.
  • Must be adept or willing to learn Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
  • Impeccable eye for detail (web, print, and video)
  • Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination OR weekly negative Covid-19 tests.
  • Quick learner with a go-getter attitude.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Curious and comfortable working in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment
