Project Manager

RubyGarage is looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Organization of the process of software development according to the Scrum methodology.
• Facilitating activities such as Refinement, Grooming, Estimation, Sprint planning, Daily standup, Sprint review, Retrospective.
• Translating the functional requirements of the project into a clear scope of work for the development team.
• Determining task dependencies and establishing an effective development process for achieving the product's goals.
• Supporting the process of evaluating the workload of the development team.
• Analysis of the indicators of speed and efficiency of the work of the development team.
• Efficient planning of releases for achieving the goals of the product.
• Manage the expectations of the product team.
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of the performance indicators of the product team.
• Promoting a productive work process by addressing the various issues that arise in the team.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as Project Manager in an IT company or startup.
• At least 1 year of experience in Scrum methodology.
• Understanding of the Agile and Lean principles.
• Understanding of XP practices.
• Understanding the life cycle of software development.
• Knowledge of the evaluation methods by means of feedbacks (story points).
• Experience of working with JIRA.
• Ability to read and understand the specification of the requirements to the software (epics, user stories, Gherkin scripts).
• Knowledge of the indicators of speed and efficiency of the team.
• Understanding the concept of win-win.
• Good communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Developed leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to take on the responsibility and quickly make decisions.
• Knowledge of English Language: Upper-Intermediate+
