Silicon Validation Engineer

This is a project-based role for 8 months. Qualified candidates can easily make 2X avg. monthly salaries

This role requires you to develop a Silicon Validation Test Plan according to product specifications to test, measure, analyze, debug power and performance characteristics of a low power SOC. This is an individual contributor role - ideal for those who are highly autonomous, self-driven, meticulous, and organized.

Your work will determine and define the architectural decisions and competitive positioning of these SOCs.

Job Skill Set

• Post silicon Validation experience - particularly in power & performance
• Hands-on experience on processor-based SoCs. Experience with driving and debugging complex issues
• C/Python coding skills
• Silicon Debug and bring-up experience
• Test plan development according to product specifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Familiarity With The Following Is a Big Plus

• Test equipment like Signal Generator & Analyzer, Logic analyzer, Oscilloscope and Protocol analyzers
• Embedded software development of low-level hardware drivers in C language
• DSP, digital communications, and peripheral protocols - I2C, SPI, PWM, I2S
• Scripting skills - Perl, Shell, etc

Working experience related to one or more of the following is required:

• Experience in power and performance measurement, analysis, and debug
• ARM, DSP Processors & Debug
• V7/V8 architectures like ARM Cortex-M, ARM Cortex-A7, ARM Cortex A53/A57, Artemis
• Validation experience in SoC for other blocks like peripherals, DDR is good to have

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience
