Embedded Systems Engineer

What will you be doing?
As an embedded systems engineer you will be part of the R&D team of Abel and work on the development of Abel’s products and services. You will be working on the hardware components of Abel's remote sensing IoT products, from custom sensors to our generic IoT communications controller. You will work in a team of developers with various backgrounds and expertise. Within the team you will be challenged to have an active role and contribute to the design of products and services, from both technical perspective and user perspective.

What should you bring?
For this position we are looking for someone with:

• A relevant Master's or Bachelor’s degree.
• Several years of professional experience in embedded systems development, or relevant experience from non-professional projects.
• Experience with: C or embedded C++
• Affinity with code quality, unit testing and continuous integration.
• Knowledge and experience with NB-IoT or LTE-M.
• Knowledge and experience with embedded operating systems is a plus.
• Experience with low power systems is a plus.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• You’re also familiar with, or would like to get familiar with Scrum and Git.
